I bought a few rods about a week ago and used it to repair a cast iron skillet of mine. I had a little bit left over so I attempted a repair an older cast iron stove I have at the campground and it worked! The first time I tried the castaloy did not bond but I think that is because I did not clean it good enough. I re-applied more flux and scrubbed it harder and it worked.
